Mina Salehpour was born in 1985 in Teheran/Iran.
1994 her family left Iran, immigrated to Germany and settled in Bavaria.
In 2006 she graduated from high school and moved to Frankfurt am Main.
From 2007– 2011 she worked as Assistant Director in Frankfurt and Hannover Staatstheater.
In 2011 Salehpour started working as freelance director.
Several productions at Schauspiel Hannover, Schaubühne Berlin, Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf,
Theater Bonn, Schauspielhaus Graz,
Det Norske Theatret Oslo, Schauspiel Köln and Trøndelag Teater Trondheim and Others.
From 2017- 2020 Mina Salehpour has been resident director at State Theatre Dresden.
Numerous of her works were invited to international Theatre Festivals to Plovdiv, Pune, Chennai and Sao Paulo.
In 2016 she made her debut as a documentary film director.
Her film mosche.de was invited to the international Documentary Film Festival DOK-Leipzig and to Dok.fest Munich.
She was nominated for Best Newcomer Artist by Theater Heute Magazin, for the Friedrich-Luft-Price Berlin and in 2022 for HEDDAPRISEN for best director. 2013 she received the German Theater prize DER FAUST.
Salehpour has a deep artistic relationship with set- and costume designers Maria Anderski and Andrea Wagner and composer Sandro Tajouri.
Mina loves Rock’n’Roll music, is married and lives in Berlin.
